Earlier today, Oddwalk served as warmup guys, emcees, and more-or-less the sacred component to the Shrine’s Earth Day celebration for school kids. About 500 enjoyed a beautiful day at the Shrine, learning about God’s creation and our stewardship of it.

Part of the decor of the day was a large inflatable globe on the stage area. Once all the kids left, we had a little fun with Mother Earth:

You’ve heard of Where’s Waldo?  Well, here’s a “Where’s Oddwalk?”  Susan Fowler has helped with the Shrine’s Earth Day celebrations many times, and always draws up a remembrance of the days just like this one.  Earth Man and The Other Guy were there again this year, and are a part of the memories.  Can you find us?

The Shrine today received a number of thank you cards from St. James school who attended last week’s Earth Day celebration.  Here’s one from Olivia:

Thursday and Friday Oddwalk served as emcees for the Shrine’s Earth Day celebrations for grade schoolers.  When at this event, you may recall we take on the personas of Earth Man (Shannon) and The Other Guy (Orin) – that helps explain Shannon’s cape and hat.

Pictured here is Earth Man and his wife Erin holding signs pointing the way to Fr. Maurice’s Cosmic Walk that was part of the day.
In case you were concerned, we haven’t changed our name.
That's it. That's the end. Go away.
