Double or Nothing?

Oddwalk last week lost a bet with Vancouverite and Youth Ministry Dude Clayton Imoo when the St. Louis Blues lost to the Vancouver Canucks in a sweep during the first round of the NHL playoffs.

Now Vancouver is slated to take on the Chicago Blackhawks, and the rumor on Twitter is that Clay is looking for another fan to place a wager with.  True, the Hawks are a big rival of the Blues (though not as big as Detroit is), but Shannon was born and raised in Illinois, and Orin of course is employed at the Shrine in Illinois.

We propose a double-or-nothing wager with Clay: If The Hawks win, Oddwalk is off the hook, and we’re even.  If however Vancouver wins, we’ll not only video ourselves singing “O Cananda” and extol the virtues of Vancouver and the Canucks, we’ll also do so with one of us wearing a dress.

Orin portrays typical Shrine visitor "Ethel" at a Shrine employee breakfast in 2002.

We’ll let you know if he takes us up on the offer!

UPDATE!

10:17 AM CDT – Clay has counter-offered, and we accept! In addition to the above conditions, the “extolation” of Vancouver and of the Canucks shall be rapped. Stay tuned!
