Spring is upon most of us, even if the weather seemingly has multiple-personality disorder, and with the coming of Spring we figured it was high time for another Oddwalk Haiku Challenge! (Here’s a link to all the other past Haiku Challenges and related posts.)
The rules, as always, are pretty simple. Three lines of poetry, first line has 5 syllables, second line has 7, and the last line 5 again. Your haiku must begin with the last word of the most recent entry. Bonus points (though no one is keeping score anyway) if your Haiku is spring related – warming temps, Easter arriving, first communions, blooming flowers, cute little baby chicks, etc. Leave your follow-up Haikus in the comments back at the Oddblog, those of you seeing this in your favorite rss reader, or via facebook, etc.
Here’s one to get us started:
Spring! Unless you are
In the southern hemisphere
where it is now Fall.
