March 18, 2020, was the first day for distance-learning at St. Peter Catholic School in Fulton, MO, where Shannon works and he and Erin’s boys attend school. That was also the first day for a virtual Cerneka family show, called Music ‘n Stuff, which was streamed on Facebook Live. MNS was conceived as a way to bring some joy to kids and families who were going to be stuck at home together for long periods of time during the pandemic. Music ‘n Stuff initially ran each weekday at 11 am, but was eventually modified to stream three days-a-week. Occasionally, the Cernekas were joined by special guests, which included Orin, Kelly Neudecker, and Leslea Alexander.
