Saturday night, during mass, a torrential rain passed over the <a href=\"http:\/\/snows.org\/\">Shrine<\/a> and ended just as the communion rite was drawing to a close.  Leaving mass, it was still raining a bit even thought the sun had come out from beind the evening clounds, and we all saw the most amazing rainbow any of the folks I talked with had ever seen.  This cell-phone picture doesn&#8217;t do it justice, but here it is:<\/p>\n<p><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/bp1.blogger.com\/_-rOepCflcK8\/RhAlMQo-MZI\/AAAAAAAAATc\/9zrpERAs7gs\/s1600-h\/Photo_033107_001.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/bp1.blogger.com\/_-rOepCflcK8\/RhAlMQo-MZI\/AAAAAAAAATc\/9zrpERAs7gs\/s400\/Photo_033107_001.jpg\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5048576074837799314\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>The rainbow stretched from one horizon to the other, at times you could distinctly see the end of it, as in, &#8220;This rainbow begins (or ends) at that tree over there.&#8221;  Most amazing.<\/p>\n<p>The masses at the Shrine, particularly the proclamation of the passion (according to Luke) and the art &#038; environment were all well done and especially evocative &#8211; thanks to all who made these elements come to life.
