Our regular bass player was unavailable, though, and we needed a replacement. That&#8217;s when Rick, our drummer, introduced us to Dan Lang. Little did we know back then just how well Dan would fit into the Oddwalk universe. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SKFFbVKI6Qw\">This clip<\/a> is from that first gig, though it never actually shows Dan. The one below is much better. Dan is in the background, stage left.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VyhaSj6iiVA\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A few years later, the Oddwalk family grew as Dan started bringing his girlfriend Katie along to gigs. It was clear early on just how perfect she was for Dan. I know that we certainly enjoyed having her around and were not the least bit surprised the day we heard they were engaged.<\/p>\n<p>Last weekend, Dan and Katie were married in a beautiful ceremony at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wapella, IL.
